Privacy Policy

ClearCut ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our background removal service.
2. Image Processing
Your images are our top priority. Here's exactly what happens to them:
- Images are transmitted securely over HTTPS
- Processing happens in memory — images are never written to a permanent disk
- Processed results are stored temporarily (1 hour) to allow you to download
- After 1 hour, all images are automatically deleted from our servers
- We never use your images to train AI models
- We never share your images with third parties
3. Data We Collect
For free users (no account required):
- Usage count stored in your browser's localStorage (never sent to us)
- Basic analytics (page views, country) via Google Analytics — anonymized
For registered users:
- Email address and name
- Usage history (number of images processed)
- Billing information (processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers)
4. Cookies
We use minimal cookies: session authentication (registered users only) and analytics (Google Analytics, anonymized IP). We do not use advertising cookies.
5. GDPR & KVKK
If you are in the EU or Turkey, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at privacy@clearcut.tools to exercise these rights.
6. Third-Party Services
- Replicate API — processes your images. Subject to Replicate's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — CDN and security. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics — anonymized usage analytics.
- Stripe — payment processing for paid plans.
